I began sewing when I was 8 years old, it was love at first stitch! My roots are in fashion design. I made the transition to serious quilting in 1994 and shortly after became a longarm quilter specializing in custom quilts, quilting over 1000 quilts for customers before retiring from commercial work to focus on expanding Northern Threads retail services.
Designing quilts is my passion. Writing patterns allows me to share the my creations with others.
Machine Embroidery is an exciting creative extension of quilting and fashion. Customizing embroidery designs gives me the freedom to create my vision just the way I imagined it, using the PFAFF 5D Embroidery Suite.
