Double knitting is a form of knitting in which two layers are knit simultaneously with two yarns on one pair of needles, making the finished project reversible. Learn the double-knitting technique and make a quick coaster with a moose knit right into the square. You will then be able to transfer the skills to make any double-knit pattern you want!
Knitters taking this class must have basic knowledge of the knit and purl stitches knitting in the round.
Class Supply List:
- Pattern: supplied in class
- Yarn: One skein solid worsted weight yarn, one skein variegated worsted weight yarn
- Needles: US #7 -16” long circular needle, or needle required for 20sts/30rounds to 4” in stockinette stitch.
- Other: Stitch marker, 8” long zipper
