Beginning How to Guide to Sewing

In this LIVE ZOOM CLASS, we'll give a brief overview of how to get started sewing! Sewing can be fun and a creative activity but getting started can be frustrating. In this class you will learn basics of sewing. Everything from how to set up your machine, selecting the correct thread and needle size, choosing and preparing fabric, essential tools, and techniques such as zippers and buttonholes. You have the machine now let's sew - the possibilities are endless!

This class is perfect to take before our upcoming garment sewing classes which we'll post later this fall.

You'll have the opportunity to speak to the educator if you have any questions.

We'll send an email with a link to the class recording so you can review the session after class.

Time Zones ~ Our classes are scheduled using the Alaska time zone. Zone Code for Summer AKDT | Winter AKST. You can use the Time Zone Converter to see what time the class would be in your area.
