 In 1996, Marie Noah started her business, Quilting Trail, in a small 700-square-foot space in North Pole, Alaska. She offered professional quilting services and fabric. By 2008, the shop expanded twice, added sewing machines, and changed its name to Northern Threads.Northern Threads is a one-stop shop for sewers, embroiderers, and quilters providing customers with a large selection of supplies needed to complete projects from start to finish, including smaller supplies from adhesives to zippers, and larger equipment such as sewing machines. Northern Threads serves as a certified Sales and Service Center for sewing and embroidery machines. We are a certified dealer of brands such as Babylock, Bernina, Consew, Janome, Pfaff, Viking, and Singer. In addition to in-store services, we offer our full product selection through our online store, which supports significant virtual business, including international sales and a dedicated shipping department. This online presence, along with our engagement on social media, helps creatives from around the world connect with our brand and products. Marie Noah is planning to retire and is actively seeking a new owner to carry on the legacy of high-quality products and exceptional customer service that Northern Threads is known for.
