The Straight Stitch Needle Plate ensures precise stitch formation when straight stitching. Its small hole supports the maximum amount of fabric, preventing it from being pushed into the larger hole required for wider stitches. Use in conjunction with straight stitch foot #13 or stitch foot #53 with its non-stick sole for best results (both sold separately). Because it supports and guides the fabric so well, the straight stitch needle plate is also ideal for a variety of embroidery projects, as well as other challenging sewing projects such as patchwork. The plate features guide markings in millimetres. For 130 to 170 machines.
